For Prepaid TravelSIM®+s that start with 0488 or 0489, your account balance is in AUD and you can check your balance anytime by dialling *101# from your phone.

For Prepaid TravelSIM®+s that start with 372, your account balance is in USD and you will be told your balance at the start of each phone call.

For Prepaid TravelSIM®+s that start with 0488 or 0489

Credit for calls, text and data is valid for 6 months from purchase.  If you purchase additional credit, any usused credit will roll over for another 6 months.

Data packs are valid for 30 days from activation.  You cannot roll over data packs.

For Prepaid TravelSIM®+s that start with 372

Credit remains valid as long as you keep using your SIM card at least once every 6 months.

If your phone displays messages such as SOS only, SIM restricted or SIM lock try switching your phone off and on again.

As your phone is in a roaming environment, it is recommended to turn your phone off more regularly to allow the phone to refresh itself.  

If the problem remains, your phone is locked to your service provider.  

Your phone must be unlocked for the Prepaid TravelSIM®+ to work.

If you experience an issue with your Prepaid TravelSIM®+, please try the following:

  • turn your phone off and on.  As your phone is in a roaming environment, it is recommended to turn your phone off more regularly to allow the phone to refresh itself.  
  • call through the Prepaid TravelSIM®+ app.
  • check the number is dialled in full international format.
  • ensure your phone is connected to a network.
